ABOUT ME

Hello. My name is David.

I'm a senior writer, Creative Lead and occasional performer.

Storytelling is my passion and writing is my craft. I want to help brands communicate in a way that's clear, concise and creative.

THEATRE

I write and perform short story shows to critical acclaim and commercial ambivalence. These include “A Good Service on All Other Lines” at the Edinburgh Fringe 2018, which is being released as a podcast later this year, and the sell-out Christmas show “Murder in Tinsel Town”.

Brand new show, “Unwanted Objects”, will be debuting at the Edinburgh Fringe 2020.

cOPYWRITING

I’ve been working as a copywriter for 8 years, both below and above the line; from humble beginnings as a junior at Critical Mass right through to my most recent role as Creative Lead for We Are Alexander.

In that time I’ve worked on beer brands, consumer banks, cars, all manner of FMCGs, a smidge of fashion and, weirdly, diabetes medication.
